Patti Gordon earned a masters degree in Counseling from the University of Nebraska. Following graduate school, she worked as a flight attendant before joining the corporate world as a division manager for a global leader in corporate training and performance technology.
Patti has spent over ten years as a freelance writer and instructional design consultant. She has served as vice president for a small company in the banking industry, then took on the role of director of operations research for a high-tech company specializing in national security applications.
But it was her leadership role with a variety of single adult ministries that led her on the path to her true life purpose and provided the inspiration for her first book. Never married and armed with a personal understanding of the joys and struggles of single life, Patti has amassed a wide range of experiences and points of connection with today’s singles.
Now, after leaning on the Lord to overcome the challenges singles face and learning to live victoriously without a mate, she shares her stories and life lessons with others in her debut book, Press Play. With wit and wisdom, Patti takes readers on a journey toward living the abundant life now, challenging them to cast aside their preconceived notions that true happiness can only be found in a life partner, in favor of finding true fulfillment in the only One who can offer true nourishment for the soul.
Patti makes her home in Atlanta, Georgia where she enjoys entertaining, leading Bible studies, and spending time with friends. |
